The benefits of having play in our lives spread beyond the moment of play itself. This makes playfullness as a design strategy, hard to argue against.

 

The Button Ottoman has been conceived to offer a light hearted moment to an interior space. An oversized hardwood button and cushion under tension slyly use mundain form language in an unusual place. By scaling up an object which might not normally be regarded as worthy of attention, this ottoman offers a moment to pivot away from the ordinary.
